Goodluck Hope is a residential development by Ballymore on the Leamouth Peninsula, a historic area of London’s docklands. It covers 27,000 squares metres; with 804 new homes, 2,000 square metres of commercial space and 235 square metres of education floor space.
The core of the site is a restored Grade II-listed orchard dry dock that is framed by panoramic view of the Thames. SCP Contracts worked with Benningen Lloyd to create the show apartment and marketing suite for the project.
With strong reference to the areas industrial past, Benningen Lloyd’s approach to the warehouse style interiors was to combine raw natural materials with highly crafted finishes. The resulting spaces are grand in scale yet intimate, creating a living environment which is relaxed, welcoming and of a universally refined aesthetic.
