Imperial War Museum

London, UK

DJA partnered with Imperial War Museums London (IWML) to design two floors of Learning and Events Spaces, offering versatile areas to enhance public engagement and educational programs. The Taube Family Holocaust Learning Centre and the Clore Learning Centre provide multi-functional spaces designed for a wide range of activities, including school teaching, lectures, workshops, survivor interviews, artifact handling, film screenings, and more. DJA worked closely with IWML stakeholders, conducting workshops, presentations, and creating visualizations to support fundraising efforts, ensuring the design vision was fully realized. The interiors, inspired by Paul Nash’s war paintings, blend historical themes with modern functionality, creating an environment that reflects the museum’s mission of education and remembrance.
