2 Kingdom Street is the most significant property on the Paddington Central campus, providing high quality, multi-let office space. Jo White Design were employed by British Land to work alongside Jason Bruges Studio in the transformation of this space.
Jo White Design provide a niche design service, specialising in architectural interiors and building-identity for commercial developments. Jason Bruges Studio create interactive spaces and surfaces that sit between the world of architecture, site specific installation art and interaction design.
Jason Bruges Studio and Jo White Design collaborated to ensure a close relationship between the new interior and impressive lighting installation. ‘Icosahedral Sky’ is suspended across the double height space and recreates the external environment within the lobby. The bespoke hemispherical reflectors, feature internal animations which are driven by current weather conditions.
The inviting atrium of 2 Kingdom Street is used by tenants and visitors to work, host meetings and socialise. SCP Contracts supplied the furniture for the space. The assortment offers a variety of seating for visitors to utilise and enjoy.
