The Lavitta collection draws upon the influences of traditional rugged Finnish outdoor furniture. The Lavitta table, characterised by its tapered legs and rounded corners, is available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Ideal as dining and meeting tables, each is made from plywood and moulded plywood and comes finished in a selection of lacquers and stains.
Poiat was founded in 2010 by designers Antti Rouhunkoski, Timo Mikkonen and Marco Rodriguez. The Helsinki-based design studio draws upon classic Finnish design principles to create original and characterful forms. In addition to furniture, the practice spans architecture, interior and product design.
