The Esper lighting series takes inspiration from chochins, the paper lanterns traditionally hung outside restaurants and social evening spots in Japan. Created by New York design studio Visibility for Roll & Hill, the different forms are distortions of the iconic lanterns. Each with utilitarian shapes and smooth surfaces that look towards the future whilst recalling the past.
