Donna Wilson is well known for her oddly shaped and outlandish creatures, yet in the Hue sofa she contains the urge for shape-shifting and has plumped for a rather sophisticated simplicity instead.

Inspired by series of coloured boxes, the Hue sofa uses three different shades of colour on each face of the piece, adding emphasis to the outline of the form. The frame is made from hardwood with multi-density foam and lacquered beech turned legs. Hue is adorned with a button on the seat and back, and a single stitch cross detail on the back. The seat itself is very long at nearly two metres and the arms are solid, ideal for using a laptop. Hue comes in four different colourways and a removable arm tray made from stock leather is also available. Donna Wilson’s design is bold, comfortable and reassuringly familiar.

Also available as a armchair. Made to order in Norfolk, England.

This version of the Hue sofa is upholstered in Divina 3. Also available in a wide range of other fabrics and leathers.
