One of the final Building Schools for the Future projects to be delivered, Dagenham Park School is a beautifully conceived three-storey split-levelled volume organised around a brightly-lit central atrium with large-scale graphics and accent colours.
AHMM’s vision for both a strong identity and a community presence at the school was realised through the creation of a unified campus that makes positive connections to the adjacent park, junior school and Moreland Road entrance.
SCP Contracts worked with AHMM to supply appropriate furniture and lighting around the school, in communal areas and in the library. Products specified include the TwoThreeFour table by Terence Woodgate (SCP) in various different configurations, brightly coloured Air chairs by Jasper Morrisson (Magis), Eames DAX chairs (Vitra) and the futuristic Miura stool by Konstantin Krcic (Plank).
