Port Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated on the Royal Parade in Eastbourne. The restored Victorian Townhouse boasts 19 modern bedrooms with a relaxed restaurant and inviting bar. The striking charcoal exterior references Norfolk’s iconic clapboard houses that are often painted black.
In contrast to the bold exterior, the rooms are designed to have calming interiors, finished with comfortable chairs, a desk or table and other soft finishes to create warm, welcoming, and relaxed spaces. Brass detailing is used throughout as a nod to Eastbourne’s ornate pier and dome.
The on-site restaurant’s interior was inspired by the surrounding landscapes, taking colour inspiration from the monochromatic tones of the pebbled beach and the soft pinkish hue that bounces off the sea at sunset, and offers guests seasonal menus created with local produce.
