Rambert

London

Rambert, the renowned contemporary dance company, has moved into a new purpose-built building on London’s South Bank. The space will enable them to expand their community engagement activities and build on their already exceptional artistic standards.

Their new home contains three dance studios, an archive and reading room which are open to the public, and office space for administrative staff. A mixture of double and single height spaces are grouped around a central courtyard, which provides the social focus for the building as well as maximising natural light and ventilation.
SCP Contracts worked with Allies & Morrison to specify and supply furniture throughout the building.
Furniture specified:
Osprey dining table and bench by James Burleigh
EOS outdoor furniture by Matthew Hilton for Case Furniture
Mags sofa by HAY
Blackbox Bench by SHL Design for Jensenplus
F25 desk by Forma 5
40/4 Chair by David Rowland for Howe
