Interior architecture practice Johnson Naylor designed and curated a show space located in a former warehouse in Brentford. The space comprises an event space, show flat and hub for the community. Johnson Naylor also helped develop the in-house bakery and restaurant, Rye by the Water.
The 4.79-hectare waterside site in the London Borough of Hounslow was cited by developers Ballymore as having remarkable potential. The Brentford Project includes approximately 14,000 sqm of new retail, as well as leisure and commercial opportunities, and a gym / leisure centre.
The multi-purpose space is responsive to the surrounding area, its location next to the water and its importance in regenerating Brentford. SCP worked with Johnson Naylor to specify a range of furniture, upholstery and accessories for the space, including a bespoke upholstered seating system.
